Training in the Healing Anchored Model

Parts work and inner healing, anchored in Christ.

A biblically grounded training in the Healing Anchored Model for pastors, campus ministers, spiritual directors, and Christian therapists.

Grounded in the Internal Family Systems map of parts and Self, and integrated with the Immanuel Approach and Restoring the Foundations, the model teaches you to understand the inner life with compassion, invite Jesus into the places that hurt, and walk with others toward lasting freedom, with Scripture as the final authority throughout.

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (TN, IL) · IFS Institute trained · Guiding practicum training in IFS Institute trainings · Christian inner healing and deliverance · 19+ years in ministry · Graduate training at Wheaton College

Does this sound like you?

You want IFS training, but not at the cost of your theology.

You want to learn parts work from someone who holds Scripture as the final authority.

You're already caring for hurting people.

Congregants, students, and directees bring wounds that prayer and good counsel haven't fully reached.

You want more than a technique.

You want to make room for Jesus to be the healer, not an add-on at the end.

You've trained in pieces.

You've learned some IFS, inner healing prayer, or deliverance, and want to see how they belong together.

What makes this training different

Christ at the center

Each person is created in the image of God, and Jesus is invited into the healing, not left outside it.

Tested against Scripture

We name where the model fits a biblical view of the person and where it needs care.

Built for ministry

Practice shaped for prayer ministry, pastoral care, spiritual direction, and Christian counseling.

Small and experiential

Live demonstrations, guided practice, and small practice groups with live support and coaching.

What the certificate is and isn't

The Healing Anchored Certificate recognizes completion of training in the Healing Anchored Model. It is not a license, and it is not IFS Institute certification. Therapists practice within the scope of their license; ministry participants within the scope of their role.

Healing Anchored is an independent Christian training, not affiliated with or endorsed by the IFS Institute.

Common questions

Do I need prior IFS training?

Not for Foundations. Prior IFS Institute training may let you begin with Integration. [Confirm.]

Is IFS compatible with Christian faith?

Parts of the model fit a biblical view of the person, and parts need care. We test it against Scripture throughout. Read: Is IFS Biblical?

I'm not a therapist. Is this for me?

Yes. Pastors, campus ministers, and spiritual directors are a core part of every cohort.

What's the time commitment?

About 112 hours for Foundations, including training weeks, a practice day, practice groups, and consultation calls.

Will we practice deliverance?

Integration teaches discernment and deliverance carefully, always distinguishing parts of a person from anything foreign.

Are CE credits available?

[Confirm.]

The people you care for need more than a technique. They need to meet Him.
